More than 60 participants from the programme management, the projects and partners participated in the kickoff for Mistra InfraMaint. Speed dating and group discussions were highly appreciated points on the agenda.
The kickoff was held in RISE premises in Göteborg on Wednesday, October 10, and clearly showed how much enthusiasm and commitment there are among the programme participants.
“When we leave here today, we’ll know what we want to achieve and why,” said Annika Malm, Programme Manager during the introduction.
The overall picture
An important goal for the kickoff was to provide the overall picture so that project managers, other participants in the programme and partners from municipalities, government and industry can see how they can help achieve the program goals.
Therefore, a speed dating was conducted to give the opportunity to connect.
Another discussion, in smaller groups, focused on identifying the success factors for the programme.
A lot of competence
The rest of the day offered both visions and information on the small practical details that are needed to make programme work to flow smoothly. And even though the programme has just started, the kickoff clearly demonstrated the partners solid competence.
– Remember, we do not start from scratch. Together we have several hundred years of combined expertise in infrastructure maintenance issues, said Annika Malm.
