In 2021, we have been inundated with webinars, reports and newspaper articles about the importance of infrastructure maintenance or how neglected it is. The severe floods that hit Sweden further intensified the public debate and it became obvious to many that infrastructure needs to be better maintained to withstand the stresses of climate change.
