In 2021, we have been inundated with webinars, reports and newspaper articles about the importance of infrastructure maintenance or how neglected it is. The severe floods that hit Sweden further intensified the public debate and it became obvious to many that infrastructure needs to be better maintained to withstand the stresses of climate change.

Measurement of target fulfilment of Mistra InfraMaint: evaluation after two years
The research programme has five overall objectives that we want to achieve within eight years. In order to assess whether we are achieving the goals, we want to measure goal fulfilment with relevant measures. This evaluation of the first two years has been carried out by Kristina Karlsson, RISE.
